Pet Friendly Rental

Sun, sand, food, friendly people all the advantages of living in Pacific Beach.  Sounds great until you realize that your 50 pound, four legged, furry friend is going to be a huge hindrance in your ability to rent a home in the area.  Lucky for you, Pacific Beach is actually one of the most dog friendly neighborhoods in San Diego.  Not only are there several management companies, apartment buildings and private landlords that will allow a furry roommate, but the city in general is designed to accommodate the local love for animals.  One of the most unique pet friendly qualities in the neighborhood is that most bars and restaurants welcome your four legged wingman!  If you browse the popular website, bringfido.com, you will find a list of restaurants that make accommodations for your fur babies. The animals might not necessarily be allowed inside the dining area, but these restaurants provide a place to park your pal (which likely includes a bowl of complimentary treats and water) while you grab a bite to eat. If your pal is more in the pudgy side and could use a little bit of exercise, you may want to consider the many dog friendly public parks in the general vicinity.  Some of these parks include Kate Sessions, the Dusty Rhodes dog park, Dog Beach, and Fiesta Island.  Now keep in mind, just because these are all dog friendly places, local leash and waste laws still apply.
