One of the keys to success with owning real estate properties in the United States is making tenants feel at home when they move in because if you start your relationship out correctly with your tenant’s they will be more inclined to renew their leases with you.

In this article, we will share with you several tips that you can apply to your rental list of new tenants in to make them feel welcome when they move into your Riverside rental property

Tip #1 – Give Your Tenants A Welcome Basket When They Move In

One of the first things that you should do for new tenants is to give them a welcome basket when they first move into your rental property. This welcome basket should include things that they may find to be useful like a small package of dishwasher soap, laundry detergent, toilet paper, and other items that they can use to get life started in their new home.

Tip #2 – Make Sure Your Tenants Know the Community

If your tenants have recently relocated to the area because of their jobs, or due to their service in the military. Your welcome basket should also tell your tenants more about area shops, stores, amenities and things to do in the area so they will feel like they know the community when they live there.

Tip #3 – Give Your Tenants Multiple Ways to Contact You

Last of all, but most important, another great way to offer your tenants good customer service is to give them multiple ways to contact you so that should they have issues or problems with their rental property they can get them resolved immediately.

Thankfully, if you have a web-based email address you can make it easy for your tenants to contact you anywhere because these days just about everything can be sent to an email account including voicemails.
